Fish the Olympic Peninsula

When you think of fishing on the Olympic Peninsula it evokes thoughts of big wild Steelhead on rugged wild rivers lined with moss-covered trees.  Whether you're a fly fisherman or gear fisherman, our rivers provide the opportunity and excitement of pursuing various species of salmon, trout and Steelhead year-round.

Unique aspects of fishing in the Forks area are the number of river options in close proximity (5+), and the varying clearing rates of each river.  Rain fall and lack thereof affects each river differently such as: When the Hoh River gets too much coloring from glacial melt silt, the Bogachiel River may be a better option, or if in the summer the waters of the Sol Duc River get too low to float, the Hoh River conditions might be perfect that day.

With fishing seasons year-round and a multitude of available fish species, combined with several river options in a convenient, central location, planning your gear or fly fishing trip to the Forks area couldn't be easier.
